Fundraisers aren’t just for your parents anymore… New York City is filled to the brim with small, grassroots organizations throwing dinner parties, happy hours, and lots of other fun, low-cost events to help raise funds for their cause by tapping into us well-intentioned millennials. I’ll be trying to keep up by posting whatever I come across and definitely whatever finds it’s way into my inbox (hint hint: email events/press releases to info@giveandgetnyc.com). If you have an extra $5 in your pocket, or some old clothes you’ve been looking to get rid of, you can help.
