It’s time for ioby’s second Annual Benefit in Our Backyards- have you bought your tickets yet? Taking place this Thursday, November 3rd, the lineup looks like it may top last years event, with passed hors d’oeuvres coming from Rawstar in Prospect Heights and Fette Sau in Williamsburg, coupled with tasty beverages provided by Kings Country Distillery, Wolffer Estate Vineyard, and of course, Brooklyn Brewery, the largest sponsor and location of this amazing benefit.

If that weren’t enough, you’re also guaranteed to leave with some amazing swag. Custom ioby glasses will be given to all guests, along with the potential to win some one-of-a-kind auction items: gift certificates to restaurants like Franny’s, Jimmy’s No. 43, Bubby’s, VNYL. Cake decorating and cheese making classes, kayak tours, SCUBA diving certification classes and boat rides galore. And of course, the people behind ioby always have a few surprises up their sleeves, so don’t have any regrets about missing the party – purchase your tickets today!

I also want to mention this year’s “Heroes In Our Backyards” honorees:

Bk Farmyards
Velo City
Sustainable Flatbush
The Community Association of Tompkinsville Park Promoting Arts and Fun (CATPAF)
Dred Scott Bird Sanctuary
Jackson Heights Green Alliance
Prospect Farm

Congratulations to all of the recipients, and I’ll see you on Thursday!

If you’re attending, be sure to use the hashtag #iobybenefit while you’re there to tweet the epicness going on, and tweet me at @GiveAndGetNYC so we can meet in person!
