Recycle-A-Bicycle Annual Benefit

On December 5th, you can become a member of the Recycle-A-Bicycle just by attending their annual benefit. If this sounds like a good idea to you, that’s probably because it is; why not meet and greet with fellow bike-lovers while you gain member status? Here’s the lowdown from the Recycle-A-Bicycle Website:

“We are thrilled to launch membership at Recycle-A-Bicycle! With your support, we can continue to grow our youth education programs in exciting and meaningful ways. Thank you for your contribution! Purchase a ticket to our upcoming benefit and you will automatically receive a membership to RAB.

WHEN: Monday December 5 from 6:30-9:30PM
WHERE: Housing Works 126 Crosby Street in NYC MAP

To purchase a ticket to Recycle-A-Bicycle’s benefit, simply make a donation in one of the following amounts through Network for Good. Be sure to include your name, mailing address, and email address in the contact form and we will add you to guest list.

They will also be honoring David Garza, Executive Director of Henry Street Settlement and Charlie McCorkell, Owner of Bicycle Habitat, on the night of the 5th. Be sure to RSVP by making a donation to the organization through Network for Good!

Recycle-A-Bicycle (RAB) is a community-based bike shop and 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that facilitates job training and environmental education. Through innovative programs such as Earn-A-Bike, Green Jobs Training Programs, High School Internships, Recycled Arts Workshops, Summer Youth Employment Program, and Kids Ride Club, RAB is dedicated to the health, development, stewardship, and empowerment of NYC youth.
